This week on New Music Friday, Fearless Music is bringing you the best of the best for the week. New music and albums by artists like Kesha, HAIM and Liam Payne.
It has been a long three years since Kesha has released any music, but the wait is over. Kesha has released her new single Praying. After a long legal battle with former producer Dr. Luke, Kesha has created a powerful comeback message in her music. Within the past four years, Kesha has opened up about her battles not only in the legal world but her struggles with a eating disorder, anxiety, and depression. Kesha said she gained strength from these obstacles and was able to channel that into her music. She told the press, “I hope this song reaches people who are in the midst of struggles, to let them know that no matter how bad it seems now, you can get through it. (Variety Magazine, 2017)” The full album Rainbows will be released August 11. Check out the powerful music video to her single Praying down below:
HAIM- Something to Tell You
The trio sister act, HAIM, has released their second album Something to Tell You. This album comes four years after their debut album “Days Are Gone.” Their sound is a mixture of Fleetwood Mac mixed with ‘80s pop and ‘90s R&B. Off of the new album, I recommend listening to “Nothing’s Wrong” and “Ready For You.” Check out the full album on Spotify by clicking the picture below:
Macklemore Featuring Skylar Grey- Glorious
Ok, this has got to be one of my favorite music videos of all time! Macklemore released a music video to his new single Glorious. In the video, Macklemore surprised his grandmother on her 100th birthday. The video captures their day spent together doing whatever Helen wants to do like getting tattoos and egging houses. Check out the whole thing below:
Some other New Music Friday that are worth listening are listed below:
Hey! My name is Ana Ginter! I am a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. In college, I started my own radio show called Fearless Radio, where I played new music and new artist every week. I missed the show so much that I decided to take it with me with this blog! I love everything about music and hope to work in the industry one day! I love all genres of music and I am open to hearing any suggestion given to me! A few of my favorite things besides music include The Ellen Show, guitars and cats!
