Welcome to the first post of Fearless Music. Within this space, you will find future posts relating to the music realm and the artists within it. This blog will introduce you to new music, upcoming talent, and follow the life of a music junkie like myself!
I want to start off by giving a little intro to why I chose the title “Fearless Music.” In college, I started my own radio show called “Fearless Radio.” On the show, I basically talked about the same topics I want to share with you. I want to transfer my radio show to the blog world.
In the quotes of Taylor Swift, “Fearless is living despite those things that scare you to death.” Have you ever been in a situation that was terrifying but you did it anyways? For me, I have a fear of planes, I don’t like them one bit! But I don’t let that stop me from flying. I love to travel and would feel so much regret if I didn’t just because my fear of planes. I think the same can be applied to the music world. Listening to music fearlessly means you take out the fear of someone else not liking your music, the fear of the artist not making it, or the fear of being judged for the type of music you listen to. You listen to music because of the feeling it brings to you and how you feel about the music.
Now you might ask yourself, what does a recent college grad know about the music industry? Well, I ask myself that question all the time. I don’t know everything about music, but I know what music makes me happy and I have experience sharing that with the rest of the world. I worked as an intern for ‘Stache media creating online and offline content for artists like Daya, Kelsea Ballerini and Third Eyed Blind. Additionally, I have done research in college with undiscovered artists and the trend of social media and streaming music.
Music is my passion and I hope you will follow me on my journey to finding fearless music.
